I have successfully applied to competitive calls worth over EUR 1.2 million during the past 3 years. I  lead my own research group at USAL, where I supervise two predoctoral researchers. I am coordinator of Water Future’s Economic Instruments of Water Security Working Group, an interdisciplinary and international network of 25 renowned scientists informing and co-developing the pioneering Global Water Assessment. I am consultant for EU’s Environment and Climate Regional Accession Network (ECRAN) and the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI). I teach at postgraduate level at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and at an undergraduate level at Universidad de Salamanca, and previously at Universidad de Alcalá. All these achievements have been matured in the 4 years since I completed my PhD, which received the highest possible distinction by the university (summa cum laude and PhD Extraordinary Award 2016).
