My name is C. Dionisio Pérez-Blanco and I am an AXA Postdoctoral Fellow at Centro Euro-Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici (CMCC) and research associate at Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM). Over the past eight years I have been working on topics related to water and agricultural economics in the context of national and EU research projects at FEEM, CMCC, Alcalá University (UAH), IMDEA Water, Salamanca University and Spanish Research Council. I also teach at a graduate and postgraduate level at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and UAH. I have been a visiting fellow at Middlesex University, University of Queensland and UAH.
I hold a PhD in Economics from UAH (2014). I also hold a MSc in Applied Economic Analysis from UAH and Complutense University of Madrid (2009) and a MSc in Development Economics and International Co-operation from the University of Rome, Tor Vergata (2007). I received my degree in economics from the University of Salamanca (2006).
I joined FEEM and CMCC in November 2013. Early in 2015 I was awarded a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoc Fellowship with the project WATER INCENT. The same year I was awarded an AXA Research Fund Postdoc Fellowship with the project BOOSTER BLUE. Since October 2016 I am also PI of the Climate-KIC project AGRO ADAPT. The objective of this research is advancing in the design and development of economic instruments in the agricultural sector that contribute to the implementation of an effective and efficient water policy mix in the EU and beyond.
